As a team we have an extensive network with relevant stakeholders in the cosmetics and food supplements sector. And we participate, cooperate and partner when we are convinced that we can improve on the knowledge and expertise of others and ourselves.
We are a member of the Dutch Cosmetics Association (Nederlandse Cosmetica Vereniging | NCV) and the Cosmetic, Toiletry & Perfumery Association (CTPA) in the UK and thereby an indirect member of Cosmetics Europe, the European trade association for the cosmetics and personal care industry.
European Professional Responsible Persons, Safety Assessors and Cosmetic testing Laboratories are united in the the European cosmetics Responsible Person Association (ERPA). TRC has been a core member of the European Responsible Person Association (ERPA) since its inception. ERPA and TRC actively participate in the working groups of the European Commission that prepare (updates of) regulations and guidelines for cosmetic products.
The European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV) is the leading organisation in Europe that strengthens the scientific network of in vitro toxicologists and promotes in vitro toxicology, both scientifically and educationally in all countries of Europe.
TRC is a member of the Independent Beauty Association (IBA), founded in 1974 to empower the beauty and personal care industry for the betterment of consumers and its members.
To warrant safety and compliance of consumer goods, and cosmetics and food supplements in particular, it is important to share knowledge and gain expertise. Consumers, brand owners, manufacturers, distributors, importers, authorities, regulators, and service providers alike have a shared interest. Therefor we participate on a regular basis in a wide array of courses, conferences and events (see the event calendar for an overview).
As one of the core members of ERPA we actively participate in the annual ERPA Congress on Regulations and Compliance for Cosmetics.
In close cooperation with industry associations Food Supplements Europe and the Council for Responsible Nutrition ( UK) we organise and chair the annual Congress on Food Supplements Safety and Compliance.
Since many years our founder Zoran Gavrić is one of the organisers and coordinators of the course "Regulation of Drug Safety" which is part of the Master degree curriculum of Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Leiden University.
The annual training course "Safety Assessment of Cosmetics in the EU" organised by Professor Vera Rogiers at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is a reference training course for professional safety assessors of cosmetics in the EU. TRC contributes by teaching one of the sections in the course.
